Big Boogaloo Formed in January of 2004, in the little northern town of Kenora, this 'groove machine' has been cranking out the Blues infused Funk with no regard for the rhythmless dancer. Boogaloo calls on their influences from the Blues, Afro-Caribbean and Brazilian genres and mixes in hard hitting, in 'yo' face funk, to create their infectious sound. With Darcy Ura as Musical Director, Vocals/Guitar, Rob Lindstrom on Bass, Bob White on Sax, Rex Csuzdi on Percussion, Ken O'Neil on Drums/Vocals, and Laura Cotton on Vocals/Percussion, Big Boogaloo is not only a dance band extraordinaire but an experience for the soul. So jump up and give yourself up to the sound of BIG BOOGALOO.

Ray Bonneville Juno Award-winner Ray Bonneville is a superb singer-songwriter who currently calls Montreal home, but has lived from Alaska to Memphis, to Paris, France. Bonneville's smooth blues styling features impeccable guitar and harmonica, whether he is working solo or with a full band. Ray's Gust of Wind was produced by Juno Award winning guitarist Colin Linden, and which took the Juno Award for Blues Recording in 2000. Ray's 2001 mainstage at the Winnipeg Folk Festival with Colin Linden and a full band was one of the highlights of the festival.
"A guitar style of exacting persuasive nuances, gut-felt harmonica lines and a voice soaked in whiskey and road-weary sentiment." Planet Jazz.

Green-eyed Soul (2007) is the title and sound of Carriešs latest album, produced by Don Kerr (Ron Sexsmith, Rheostatics). And her music has been featured on television shows such as Joan of Arcadia and Beautiful People.

The Crooked Brothers "I wake up, a mouth full of earth. Sun shining, but not through the dirt". So begins the chorus of the Crooked Brothers' 'Buried Alive', and it's a line that aptly describes the trio's sound: beautiful and warm, but with a little dirt under its fingernails.A sense of humour and a fascination with the past, dark stories of death sweetened with three-part harmonies, and traditional country instrumentation wed with a kazoo, multicultural rhythms, the blues and just about anything that will rattle - the Crooked Brothers will have you falling in love with dying, and dying to fall in love.

Deep Dark Woods In the summer of 2005 The Deep Dark Woods began shaping their sound, drawing from influences dating back to the earliest recorded folk music. The mixing of traditional folk music with rock and roll, alt-country and psychedelia takes their powerful original material from eerie gospel numbers to upbeat murder songs, covering plenty of ground in between. After only a handful of rehearsals the DDW played their first headlining show at a local club. Less than three years later they have shared the stage with The Sadies, Magnolia Electric Co., and Utah Phillips, toured extensively from British Columbia to Quebec, performed at several folk festivals and have released two full-length albums.
